Adi Singh is Ford’s global subject-matter expert on aerial robotics and UAV systems. At the company’s Research and Innovation Center in Palo Alto, he spearheads strategic innovations in drone technology that apply UAVs to automotives via physical, functional and systems integration. Adi established Ford’s research program on drones, and has been critical in formulating the company’s product development roadmap in this area.
As Ford’s primary representative to the Federal Aviation Administration, Adi is instrumental in bringing the voice of the automotive industry to the aviation community on policy issues affecting commercial drones, law enforcement and homeland security. He was a member of the FAA UAS Identification and Tracking Aviation Rulemaking Committee.
Adi’s present research initiatives center around enhancing the underlying capabilities of aerial robots for modular applications of flight in ground vehicles.
