Dyan advises the innovation arms of the U.S. Air and Space Forces and leads Trumbull, a Forbes Top 25 Veteran Founded Startup, serving energy and defense. A Veteran Fellow at Stanford University’s Hoover Institution, she recently completed Wharton’s CTO Program. Dyan studied engineering, instructed skydiving, and learned to fly at the U.S. Air Force Academy with experience in autonomy, aerospace, and AI. She earned her MBA from OSU and, as a Ph.D. candidate, her research in industrial engineering focused on computer vision and optimization.
After serving as an Acquisitions Officer, Dyan supported Air Force One, then aerospace and leadership initiatives during Obama, Trump, and Biden administrations, G7 I7 in Italy, and gained Fortune and Forbes recognition. In 2019, Google selected Dyan as 1 of 8 globally to serve on the Advanced Technology External Advisory Council (AI Council). In 2020, the White House | U.S. CTO asked her to serve on the Global Partnership on AI (GPAI) advancing responsible AI. She is working with Stanford Engineering to introduce engineers to national security.
