Chris de Visser is an agronomist and has studied at the Wageningen University between 1977 and 9183. Since 1984, Chris de Visser has been working within applied research on arable farming and field production of vegetables. First as a researcher on varying themes within crop management. This included precision agriculture. Now, he is working as a business developer and as acting Business Unit Manager of WUR Field Crops. This unit includes 5 experimental farms across The Netherlands, covering 1.200 ha of land. Within this unit, he is developing and managing projects on diverse knowledge domains and applications.
