Utah State University

Utah State University offers multiple degrees in Aviation Technology with a robust program for students to become equipped with the skills they need in the industry they love – all while nestled in the beautiful Cache Valley which allows a unique training experience that can’t be found anywhere else.
Two B.S. degrees are offered in the aviation technology, the first being professional pilot, fixed wing or rotorcraft. Students receive Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certifications and are trained to be commercial pilots. All students take classes in weather, aviation law, and human factors in safety. Aircraft maintenance technician students will complete courses required for the FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) licenses. Management and communications courses are incorporated into the program to provide essential business skills.
A minor in drones (unmanned aerial systems) and a master’s in aviation science have been added to the list of degrees offered through the program.
