Outdoor Flying Demonstrations at Nevada Institute for Autonomous Systems (NIAS)

Outdoor Flying Demonstrations at Nevada Institute for Autonomous Systems (NIAS)

Wednesday, October 25th | 3:30PM – 7:00PM

Cost: $50

See drones and systems in action at live outdoor flying demonstrations at the Henderson Unmanned Vehicle Range (HUVR). The HUVR is managed by the Nevada Institute for Autonomous Systems (NIAS) and the FAA-designated Nevada UAS Test Site. Commercial UAV Expo is partnering with the and local and national public safety experts to demonstrate drone use for a variety of scenarios.

The training is sponsored by Yuneec and Aeryon Labs, whose drones and systems will be used in the demonstrations.

Experts from these local, state and national organizations will lead the training:

They will use live-stream monitoring to walk the audience through simulated procedures and best practices using UAS in these scenarios:

  • Mapping of accident scene between school bus and passenger vehicle that incorporates search and rescue of a passenger injured in the collision
  • Vehicle pursuit with high risk traffic stop of stolen vehicle, including suspect pursuit

Space is limited and registration is required.  Includes roundtrip shuttle service from Commercial UAV Expo and light refreshments.  Participants will arrive back at The Westgate by 7:00 pm, in plenty of time to enjoy Las Vegas nightlife.

Register for these demos when you register for the expo— register early to secure a spot and for the lowest conference rates!
