Ofil in cooperation with Gremsy developed a Plug-N-Play seamless integration solution that facilitates performing corona inspections by UAVs. The solutions is tailored to Ofil’s DayCor® micROM HD camera on DJI m300. Ofil’s micROM is a bi-spectral UV-Visible HD camera that pinpoints corona PD emissions as indicators of existing electrical faults. The camera streams live HD video throughout the UAV flight and records video clips & snapshots. The integration solution includes a special gimbal with bi-directional communication to control the camera and receive footage.
