Alistair Blundy

Alistair Blundy is Chief Executive Officer and Lead Underwriter at ATA. Mr. Blundy is one of the world’s foremost experts in insuring advanced technologies, and is a pioneer of insurance for Advanced Air Mobility, including electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), and other emerging aviation technologies. Responsible for all underwriting operations, Mr. Blundy has led the development of technical underwriting ‘centres of excellence’ for ATA in autonomous systems, battery technologies, electric infrastructure, and hydrogen and alternative fuels. Mr. Blundy is also overseeing an underwriting team that is leading the development of new insurance products for autonomous vehicles, lithium batteries, battery energy storage systems, robotics, and other advanced technologies. Mr. Blundy is a thought leader and frequent keynote speaker at industry conferences.
