I am a seasoned engineering specialist with 10+ years of project management and transportation experience. Currently, I am the UAS Program Manager with the North Carolina Department of Transportation Division of Aviation. Under my leadership, I serve as primary contact with the legislature to implement regulations regarding the ownership and operation of UAS systems in North Carolina, in addition to liaising with the FAA UAS integration office, local FAA FSDO office, and statewide ATC facilities on behalf of the UAS Program. I also design, establish, and conduct studies and make recommendations relative to the UAS policies, programs, methods and procedures currently in place. In addition, I liaise with governmental teams to ensure the organization’s engineering support structure is driving the business forward with minimal expenditures.
