Brett Young

Brett Young is currently the General Manager for Hudson Bay Railway, a subsidiary of Arctic Gateway Group and short line railway operating just over 630 miles of track in Northern Manitoba serving remote communities and customers including the Port of Churchill. After completing his Bachelors of Science in Aerospace Engineering at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, AZ in 2013, Brett was a supervisor for 6 years at Mobil Grain Ltd, involved in the management of Logistics, Railcar Repair, and other aspects of the short line railways operated by Mobil Grain Ltd., Big Sky Rail and Last Mountain Railway. Despite spending the last 10 years working on short line railway, Brett is an aviation and drone enthusiast, holding a Transport Canada RPAS Pilot Certificate for Advanced Operations. Brett grew up on the farm in east central Saskatchewan and has a passion for being thorough and working hard. Brett currently resides in The Pas, Manitoba.
