Christopher Todd is an innovator, entrepreneur, communicator, and technological-humanitarian who deploys drones and mission-critical unmanned solutions to help manage complex emergencies and disasters. A Certified Emergency Manager and FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot, Chris is the host of the globally distributed TAMING DISASTER: Drones For Good podcast series.
Chris serves on the command staff for the Florida Region 7 All-Hazards Incident Management Team (FL-AHIMT-7) based at the Palm Beach County Fire Rescue Department.
Mr. Todd also serves as the executive director of the Airborne International Response Team (AIRT), is the leading 501(c)3 non-profit organization supporting the use of Drones For Good™. AIRT serves as the official home of DRONERESPONDERS, the world’s fastest-growing non-profit program supporting the use of sUAS by public safety and emergency services organizations.
Chris holds a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication from Drake University, and has completed graduated work focused on crisis communications and integrated marketing communications at the Medill School at Northwestern University.
