Craig Marcinkowski is the Director of Strategy and Business Development for Gryphon Sensors (an SRC Company). Gryphon develops commercial sensor systems for the safe integration of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) into the National Airspace System (NAS). The company leverages 60 years of SRC’s proven expertise in radar and electronic surveillance sensor research and development.
As the Director of Strategy and Business Development, Mr. Marcinkowski is responsible for developing the company’s market and product strategies, forming domestic and international partnerships, and capturing business in the quickly expanding UAS market. He also serves as an officer on the Commercial Drone Alliance board of directors.
Mr. Marcinkowski founded and currently leads the Project U-SAFE (UAS Secure Autonomous Flight Environment) initiative—a world leading safe UAS integration program that the State of New York has committed $250m to over the next five years.
Prior to Gryphon Sensors, Mr. Marcinkowski was a business development manager for SRC, where he led international business development. He began his career at Lockheed Martin as a Software Engineer before serving as a program and capture manager. Mr. Marcinkowski holds an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from Binghamton University.
