Fiona Lake provides uniquely comprehensive drone education right across Australia.
These presentations are designed to fill the gap between a drone owner having no training at all, and spending more than 1 week and $4,000 AUD on obtaining CASA’s RePL & ReOC.
Information provided is grassroots-practical but also includes valuable tips for advanced operators – based on Fiona’s several decades of business experience in agriculture and commercial aerial photography & photojournalism.
Fiona has a long-term interest in advocating for under-represented groups in several industries and not just because it fuels greater success and productivity – increased diversity also results in more informative conversations.
She has received repeat invitations to speak at the largest drone events on 4 continents and her Rural Drone Academy work has been recognised by peers, nationally and internationally.
In January 2023 Fiona was inducted into the Hall of Fame – Women in Emerging Aviation Technologies, at CES (Las Vegas); and she is the Australian Advisor for Women and Drones.
