Harry Nuttall is the Director ofSystem Aircraft for Southern Company, managing the aviation assets and related basing and logistics supporting the business needs of Southern Company and its affiliates.
Before joining Southern Company, Nuttall was assistant chief pilot at The Home Depot, the world’s largest home improvement retailer, and the sixth largest retailer in the United States.
Nuttall is the former vice chair of the Georgia Business Aircraft Association and a member of the National Business Aviation’s Domestic Operations Committee. Active in the community, he has also participated in projects with Habitat for Humanity and Kaboom Community playgrounds.
Nuttall has more than 25 years of experience in business aviation. Before his 14 years at The Home Depot, he served as pilot-in-command at Georgia Pacific and Genuine Parts Company.
Over the course of his career, Nuttall has logged 11,600 hours of flight time. He has experience with a variety of aircraft, including Lear Jet, Gulfstream V, Falcon 900, Falcon 2000, Global Express, Challenger 600, Hawker HS125, Cessna 550 and Jetstream 41. Residing in Atlanta, Ga., Nuttall and his wife, Tracy, have two daughters. He enjoys outdoor activities including boating, golfing and hiking
