Hunter Cole is a part of the Innovation and Operational Technology team at Brasfield & Gorrie and currently leads the company's Unmanned Aircraft Systems initiative. Cole studied Mechanical Engineering at Mississippi State University where he graduated in 2011. Cole joined B&G in 2015 with previous experience in 3D design and development at a major automaker and has applied that experience to the Virtual Design + Construction process. He is passionate about understanding how emerging technologies can help solve real-world construction problems. He worked to establish the company as one of the first organizations in Alabama to be FAA exempt to operate UAS commercially in 2015. Cole now manages the safety, technology, legal, and operations components of B&G's UAS program and has his FAA Remote Pilot Certification.
