In 2014, upon the completion of his service, he returned to Southern Company and became a student of the UAS industry by becoming involved in the early chapter 333 days of UAS use at Southern Company. In August of 2016, he obtained a Part 107 certificate and later a Part 61 certificate. With pioneering work in the nuclear industry, performing regulatory inspections inside locked high radiation areas to prevent human exposure to radiation. He continues to innovate in the UAS Space and hopes to make the utility industry safer by assisting humans to do the dirty, dangerous, and dull work.
