Kirt Ejesiak

Kirt Ejesiak is currently Chairman and CEO of Arctic UAV, a professional imaging company using Unmanned Vehicles (Aerial and underwater systems) based in Iqaluit, Nunavut a Territorial jurisdiction that is in Canada’s Arctic part of the Canadian Federation.
Kirt has worked tirelessly on developing Arctic drone capabilities and capacity. He has pioneered the use of drone of technologies in extreme cold weather conditions that can average as low as -40 Fahrenheit during winter months. He has worked with drone manufactures on developing cold weather tolerances for drone technologies.
Artic UAV has successfully trained and licensed Inuit commercial drone operators and currently employees four commercial drone pilots that conduct aerial survey missions in the Canadian Arctic.
Arctic UAV is recognized as the only commercial drone company that operates in the eastern Arctic of Canada and has provided aerial drone imagery and surveys for government agencies such as the Department of Fisheries and Oceans and the Department of Environment. Examples include Arctic land surveys, arctic sea ice monitoring , mining exploration and arctic marine and wild life surveys.
Arctic UAV currently has ongoing contracts with well established international mining companies to assist with arctic resource exploration.

Kirt is a past member of Canada’s National Broadband Committee and has pushed for fair access to high speed internet for 2 decades in remote Inuit communities in the Canadian Arc
