Paul Stephens is the Coordinator of Industrial Engineering at UPS Flight Forward Inc, UPS’s drone airline. He oversees the planning and support of hospital campus and last-mile drone delivery operations and recently assumed responsibility for the airline’s Research and Development team.
Paul began his career in Louisville, Kentucky in 1992 as an engineering intern. After completing his degree at the University of Louisville, he joined the Industrial Engineering management team. Over the course of his career, Paul was promoted to positions of increasing responsibilities within UPS Airlines. He managed both Hub and Feeder Operations, as well as supported Hub, Ramp and Freight Industrial Engineering. Paul has also been responsible for UPS Peak Season operations planning and multiple building expansion projects. He was the Engineering Coordinator for Worldport, UPS’s all-points international hub, prior to joining Flight Forward in 2019.
Paul is a lifelong supporter and volunteer for Metro United Way and has served as a department champion for UPS’s annual campaign several times.
A native of Louisville, Kentucky, Paul holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Louisville J.B. Speed Scientific School.
