sUAS Advanced Inspection Operations

This in-depth workshop will extend knowledge from beyond Part 107 qualifications to operational knowledge, skills, and abilities regarding sUAS utilization for inspections in construction, infrastructure, utilities, surveying and mapping. Detail covered in this curriculum includes establishing workflows, safety program development and operation, flight operations considerations, and data handling.  Attendees will develop proficiencies in identifying and mitigating risk, building efficiencies, internal-external sourcing, and performing platform and support equipment analysis and selection.

*Lunch will not be provided. 

*Register for the workshop when you register for the expo. The sUAS Advanced Inspection Operations workshop is offered as an add-on to either Full Conference or Exhibits-Only registration for Commercial UAV Expo Americas.

Dr. Scott Burgess is an Associate Professor with 34 years of aviation experience in both military and in civil aviation. David Thirtyacre

Assistant Professor, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University

David Thirtyacre has been an instructor with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Worldwide Campus for ten years and is an Assistant Professor in the College of Aeronautics. David is the Chair of the Department of Flight and currently instructs at the undergraduate and graduate levels in Aerodynamics, Aircraft Performance, Unmanned Systems, Airborne Robotics, and Aviation and Aerospace Simulation Systems.
