Commercial UAV Expo Is Hosting “Beyond the Cage” Demonstrations Featuring Autel, C-Astral, Intel and Topcon

COMMERCIAL UAV EXPO IS HOSTING “BEYOND THE CAGE” DEMONSTRATIONS FEATURING AUTEL, C-ASTRAL, INTEL AND TOPCON

Demonstrations Taking Place at Henderson Unmanned Vehicle Range on October 1st

LAS VEGAS, NV, August 28, 2018 – Four leading vendors including Autel Robotics, C-Astral, Intel, and Topcon Positioning Systems will demonstrate a range of drone applications including live inspections, public safety scenarios and surveying and mapping during the opening day of Commercial UAV Expo, the leading event for professionals operating UAS in key vertical industries, taking place October 1-3 at the Westgate Hotel in Las Vegas. The live demonstrations are being coordinated with the Nevada Institute of Autonomous Systems (NIAS) and Sundance Media Group, and will take place at Henderson Unmanned Vehicle Range (HUVR) on Monday, October 1st. Demonstrations will showcase not only airframe and sensor capabilities, but a sophisticated AV set up will allow users to view resulting data sets and processing solutions for the full end-to-end view of the technology solutions on display.   Registration is required and includes round trip transportation and light snacks, and can be found at this link.

Autel Robotics will be conducting an active shooter/barricade scenario and will show how using their UAS overwatch can be a benefit to save time and lives.  Intel will conduct a tower/building inspection with their aircraft.  For all of the latest information about the “Beyond the Cage” demonstrations, click here. There will be two sessions, one from 7:20am – 10:15am and one from 9:30am – 1:00pm, with three demonstrations each; no two will be repeated. Drone experts will be on-hand to narrate live scenarios and field questions from the audience.

“We truly believe that the audience of drone professionals we serve is ‘beyond the cage,’” said Lisa Murray, Group Director of Diversified Communications, organizer of Commercial UAV Expo. “That’s why our show floor will not feature any drone cages. The live outdoor drone demonstrations are an incredible hands-on opportunity for our attendees, and they will walk away from the experience having seen industry leading products in action and with the ability to review the data sets that result from the demonstrations.”

Registration is required for Beyond the Cage. Each session is a $50 add-on to the regular registration. Attending both sessions is $100.  Space is limited, and this opportunity will sell out. Sign up for these sessions during registration at https://xpressreg.net/register/uava1018/attendee/reginfo.asp?sc=206539.

Commercial UAV Expo was recently recognized by Trade Show Network News as one of the Top 25 Fastest Growing trade shows.
