Lloyd (Pete) Coulter has a 20 year background in remote sensing research, and more recently supports San Diego State University (SDSU) with uncrewed aircraft system (UAS) operations, research assistance, and GIS. Mr. Coulter has a M.A. in Geography, is an ASPRS Certified Mapping Scientist with emphasis in remote sensing, and has been an ASPRS member since 1995. Recent UAS-related research has supported extramural grants and contracts from various agencies including NASA, NSF, USDA, NOAA, and several nonprofit foundations. Mr. Coulter is currently working with a diverse group of faculty and administrators to increase the coordination and impact of UAS activities at SDSU, as UAS represent an area of growing research, innovation and technology transfer for SDSU.
