A United States Navy Airman trained in avionics engineering, Frank Segarra is the Senior VP of Drone Services Sales for Volatus Aerospace and founder and CEO of ConnexiCore™, a leading drone service provider in the United States and a subsidiary of Volatus Aerospace Corporation. With 35 years of experience in sales, marketing, and leadership, he has committed to promoting aerial drone data acquisition, geospatial analytics, and artificial intelligence across multiple industries and disciplines.
Throughout his career, he has actively contributed to the UAS industry by serving on industry boards and associations. As a founding member and Co-Chair of the CompTIA Drone Advisory Council, he played a significant role in the development of the “Drone Standards and Best Practices” guide. Testifying before Pennsylvania state legislators as a member of the PA Drone Association Advisory Council, he advocated for UAS adoption to drive economic development in the state.
