Jeff Pricher

Jeff Pricher is the Fire Chief for the Scappoose Fire District (OR) where he has served for the last 9 years. He has been in the fire service since 1996 and has been managing special operations for over 10 years. Currently oversees a Special Operations program that includes Swiftwater Rescue, Rope Rescue, Marine firefighting, REMS and UAS. He serves as the coordinator for the regional UAS project for the Regional Disaster Preparedness Organization (RDPO), which is made up of five counties which also covers two states (Oregon and Washington). This project covers the Fire Service, EMS, Emergency Management, Communications workgroup, Public Works and Debris Flow work group. Additionally, since 2018, he has served as an associate member of the Interagency Fire UAS subcommittee with the National Wildfire Coordination Group (NWCG). Other duties include being a Division Supervisor with NW12, an interagency Type 2 Incident Management Team as well as serving as a Safety Officer with OR2, a Disaster Medical Assistant Team (DMAT) with the US Department of Health and Human Services. He has also presented at several regional conferences on UAS and Special Operations, teaches regionally and is a co-author of the textbook endorsed by NFPA and IAFC, Wildland Firefighter: Principles and Practice.
