Louis Saccaro is a project engineer at Skanska USA Building in the Metro New York Region. Since graduating in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology, Louis has worked with Skanska’s virtual design and construction (VDC) group on several healthcare, energy, and life sciences projects. In addition to utilizing UAV based technologies, Louis is also proficient in the field of SLAM-based-LiDAR systems having led a mobile scanning case study in conjunction with
Skanska’s emerging technology group. Louis is now helping to bring renewable energy to over 1,000,000 New York homes on Skanska’s SBMT Port Upgrade project as part of Equinor & BP’s Empire Wind project.
