Pairing his knowledge of electrical infrastructure from 14 years as a Journeyman Lineman, with his knowledge of UAVs, Mathew has helped to expand the use of drones across the utility space. He previously led the training of pilots across Southern Company’s system and continues to implement new uses for UAVs across all verticals of the utility industry. His passion to reduce hazards to employees and increase efficiencies for the company continues to drive Southern Company’s UAS Program to new heights.
