We welcome individuals who meet the following qualifications:
UAVIPs must be directly involved in the acquisition, management, or operational use of drones within their organization. This includes those who oversee UAS procurement or lead UAV operations for specific commercial or public sector purposes.
UAVIPs typically hold senior roles—executives, managers, project leads—within organizations or agencies where drones are used extensively or for specialized applications. This could include industries such as surveying & mapping, construction, utilities, transportation, or public safety.
UAVIPs either represent asset-owning companies (e.g., Chevron, Nutrien) that rely on UAVs for infrastructure monitoring or municipal/public sector agencies (e.g., Lehi City, State of Alaska) where UAVs are critical for public land and infrastructure management.
Oversees drone operations for pipeline monitoring.
Manages drone use for inspecting telecommunications infrastructure.
Uses UAS for inspecting roadways, bridges, and other public infrastructure.
Surveys public lands using drones to monitor environmental health.
Utilizes UAS for aerial monitoring of mining and agricultural operations.
Oversees drone operations for land and resource surveying.
Manages UAV technology for transportation infrastructure inspections.
