Zaida McGhee is the founding partner of Angulo McGhee, APLC a law firm representing clients in litigation and transactional matters. Among Angulo McGhee’s clients are Fortune 500 companies, international companies, aviation entities including UAS operators and manufacturers, major construction companies, and numerous other business entities.
Zaida is the lead author of Drone Law, Thomson Reuters’ first book on UAS law, originally published in April 2022, and now in its 8th edition. The book provides guidance on applicable laws and regulations covering everything from manufacturer compliance and drone operations to choice of law and tort principles. In addition to its use by law firms, UAS companies, professors, and others in the drone field, the book is being used to teach a drone law class at the University of Baltimore School of Law. Zaida is also a co-author of Thomson Reuters’ multivolume, California Civil Practice: Torts set which encompasses 45 chapters of an array of tort issues including aviation law.
