Keaton Denzer

Chief UAS Pilot Keaton Denzer spearheads the Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) program at Bechtel, where he oversees the approval of cutting-edge UAS hardware and software. His responsibilities extend to training project pilots and crafting efficient workflows for Bechtel’s diverse projects.

Beyond his duties in the UAS program, Keaton plays a pivotal role in propelling Bechtel’s embrace of Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) lidar technology and reality capture methodologies. This dual focus on UAS and emerging technologies underscores his commitment to staying at the forefront of innovation in the construction industry.

Armed with a master’s in geoscience from the University of Houston, Keaton’s academic journey culminated in a thesis exploring the transformative applications of photogrammetry in geoscience education.

His key areas of expertise include construction mapping and modeling, reality capture methods, and small-scale robotics. With four years of hands-on experience, Keaton brings a wealth of knowledge and practical insights to every project.
