AeroLicense™: FAA-Ready Drone Workforce Training System

What is it?

AeroLicense™ is a workforce-ready drone training system designed to prepare students and professionals for real-world UAS operations and FAA Part 107 certification. Unlike traditional training programs, AeroLicense integrates FAA regulations, NIST UAS Test Methods (Levels 1–3), and SkillsUSA commercial drone competencies into a structured, mission-based learning experience.

The program combines simulation-based flight training, real-world mission scenarios, and standards-aligned instruction to ensure learners are not only test-ready but job-ready. Designed for high schools, colleges, workforce programs, and training providers, AeroLicense bridges the gap between education and industry by producing confident, compliant, and capable pilots.

Who is using it?

AeroLicense™ is used by K–12 CTE programs, colleges, workforce development agencies, and UAS training providers preparing the next generation of drone professionals. It supports industries including public safety, construction, energy, agriculture, and infrastructure inspection. Users include drone pilots, UAS operators, aviation instructors, program directors, and workforce coordinators building scalable, standards-aligned training pipelines.

How is it making an impact?

AeroLicense™ was implemented in a high school aviation CTE program to bridge the gap between FAA knowledge and real-world drone operations. Through simulation-based flight training and mission scenarios aligned to FAA, NIST, and industry standards, students showed measurable gains in confidence and technical skill. Programs reported increased Part 107 readiness, higher assessment performance, and improved student engagement. With Programs reporting up to an 85%+ Part 107 pass readiness rate and a 30% increase in student performance. Graduates leave with certification pathways and job-ready skills, enabling immediate entry into the UAS workforce or continued aviation training.

FAA Ready. Mission Ready. Workforce Ready.
