FLYMOTION, the leading provider of unmanned solutions, has announced a partnership with Silvus Technologies, to integrate Silvus’ StreamCaster Mobile Ad Hoc Networking (MANET) radios for wireless communications between FLYMOTION’s range of manned and unmanned platforms.
As public safety and unmanned systems experts, FLYMOTION is integrating Silvus’ product line into robotic platforms and enterprise-level UAS platforms. Additionally, within the public safety and government sectors, FLYMOTION will integrate Silvus radios into mobile command vehicles and trailers for agencies and organizations nationwide.
“Silvus Technologies’ MN-MIMO waveform brings the ability to merge multiple wireless systems, both manned and unmanned, to the front lines of public safety and defense – even in contested and austere environments. Through custom integration, we will be able to incorporate StreamCaster 2×2 and 4×4 MIMO radios into aerial and ground unmanned vehicles. Attaching a wireless high-bandwidth video and data network to a robotic system will push the boundaries for clear, long-range communications for a variety of applications,” said Ryan English, CEO of FLYMOTION.
