Lyten Lithium-Sulfur UAV Battery Platform

What is it?

Lyten’s Lithium-Sulfur (Li-S) battery technology represents a generational leap in energy storage for the unmanned systems industry. Manufactured entirely in California, our batteries eliminate the need for nickel, manganese, cobalt, and graphite—minerals currently dominated by foreign supply chains. By leveraging a proprietary 3D Graphene platform, we have developed an NDAA-compliant power source that is significantly lighter than traditional Lithium-ion (Li-ion) alternatives.

This weight reduction translates directly into industry-leading endurance. In recent flight testing with an 8.5-foot wingspan fixed-wing UAV, the Lyten Li-S battery achieved a flight time of over three hours.

Who is using it?

The Lyten Li-S battery is designed for sectors where weight-to-power ratios and supply chain security are critical.

Industries: Defense & National Security: Providing secure, US-made power for tactical and reconnaissance UAVs.

Target Job Titles: * Chief Technology Officers (CTOs), UAV Systems Architects and Design Engineers, Fleet Operations Managers, Procurement and Supply Chain Officers (Defense & Aerospace), Mission Commanders

How is it making an Impact?

Lyten is impacting the UAV industry across three primary pillars:

Performance Breakthroughs: By offering a lightweight alternative to Li-ion, we are shattering current flight-time barriers. Transitioning from a 3-hour flight window to a potential 8-hour window allows operators to complete complex missions in a single sortie, drastically reducing downtime and increasing operational efficiency.

Supply Chain Sovereignty: We are addressing a critical vulnerability in the US drone industry by removing reliance on geopolitical rivals for battery minerals. Our batteries are sourced and manufactured in the US, ensuring a resilient and compliant supply chain for domestic commercial and military drone manufacturers.
