How to use the official Commercial UAV Expo Mobile App, Powered by DroneUp:

  1. Create Account & Log In – Once you have completed your registration for the show, you will receive an e-mail from Commercial UAV Expo inviting you to set up your profile and create a login account. YOU MUST SET UP YOUR PROFILE AND COMPANY PROFILE ON THE DESKTOP BEFORE DOWNLOADING THE MOBILE APP. For exhibitors, the first user to login needs to claim the company profile and create their team.
  2. Update Your Profile – Update your profile and indicate preferences of the types of professionals you want to meet onsite. This information will be used to recommend other drone professionals to connect with and meet onsite.
  3. Download the Mobile App – Once you have created your profile, download the mobile app for use on-site. All of your preferences in your profile will be saved based on the account you created in advance.
  4. Network & Plan Ahead – Review your recommendations and show interest in attendees and exhibitors. Once mutual interest is established, a connection is made and you’ll be able to live chat throughout the show or set up time for a one-on-one meeting in The DroneUp Hub in the Exhibit Hall.  You can also view the event agenda, exhibitors and speakers to plan your schedule – all of the event information you need is at the tip of your fingers! 
 

NOTE: It is highly advised to set-up your networking profile BEFORE you are onsite and download the mobile app in order to optimize your profile and start receiving networking recommendations. Download the Commercial UAV Expo event mobile app at the button below AFTER you have already set up your profile. Login with the e-mail and password you used to set up your profile. If you did not set up your profile in advance, use your badge ID to login.

Commercial UAV Expo is introducing an advanced AI-powered matchmaking platform via GRIP. The platform uses natural language processing, advanced algorithms and deep neural networks to constantly learn about your professional goals and interests. Grip takes the work out of networking through intelligent matchmaking – making it more fun and giving you a higher return on your time.

The networking platform allows you to network with other attendees and exhibitors, arrange meetings and identify potential business contacts.

The platform uses natural language processing and advanced algorithms to recommend networking opportunities. Alternatively, you can search for attendees/exhibitors directly or use the filters to find the right profile you’re looking to meet.

First, find the person you’d like to meet and click on their name to view their profile page, you’ll be able to mark them as ‘interested’ or send a meeting request directly.

A few options have been provided as locations for your meetings (your stand, beach, restaurant, meeting room, virtual meeting room) or you can specify somewhere else in the personal message area.

When a meeting request is accepted it will send a calendar invite to your email address.

The platform will display your professional information including name, job title and company. Information such as telephone number, email address or mail address will not be displayed.
