Reflex

Reflex

What is it?

Reflex is a medical drone delivery platform that gets life-saving supplies where they need to be, faster than any ground vehicle can. We deliver AEDs, blood products, lab samples, donor organs, and emergency medications via autonomous drone — on a Drones as a Service model, so hospitals, EMS agencies, and 911 centers can launch a program without owning a single aircraft. Cardiac arrest survival drops 10% every minute. Organ viability degrades in hours. Ground transport is too slow. Reflex exists because in medicine, the difference between life and death is often just time.

Who is using it?

Users include municipal public safety agencies, 911 dispatch centers, fire departments, EMS providers, hospitals, blood banks, organ procurement organizations, and diagnostic laboratories. Key job titles include Emergency Management Directors, Fire Chiefs, EMS Directors, Hospital Operations Managers, Lab Directors, and Chief Medical Officers.

How is it making an impact?

Cardiac arrest survival drops 10% per minute without intervention, yet average EMS response times exceed 8 minutes. In the emergency use case, Reflex drones arrive on scene in 3-5 minutes with an AED or other relevant medical equipment, while a 911 dispatcher guides bystanders through defibrillation — more than doubling survival odds. In healthcare logistics, the same platform eliminates the delays of ground transport for lab samples, blood products, and donor organs, where even a 30-minute delay can render a transplant organ unusable. Reflex has been recognized by Citizen CPR Foundation for its potential to transform emergency response and medical logistics nationwide.
