The highest level of anti-jamming and anti-spoofing (AJAS) protection and situational awareness for mission-critical applications

Leuven, Belgium – Leuven, Belgium – May 18, 2026 – Septentrio, part of Hexagon, a leader in high-precision GPS/GNSS¹ positioning solutions, announces the launch of the mosaic-G5 P8 receiver. This multi-frequency module, measuring only 23 mm by 16 mm and weighing as little as 2.2 grams, enables accurate and resilient positioning without any performance compromises for mission-critical devices, UAVs, marine vessels, and rail applications. Built for reliable operation in contested GNSS environments, AIM+ Ultimate technology protects the receiver from powerful and sophisticated GNSS jamming2 and spoofing attacks. Beyond positioning and interference mitigation, mosaic-G5 P8 delivers comprehensive situational awareness, combining timely interference and spoofing indicators with detailed power and frequency data, which can help localize jammers.

“The mosaic-G5 P8 is in a class of its own: uncompromised GNSS resilience in a secure, ultra‑compact, all‑in‑one design,” said Yasmine Hunter, Product Manager at Septentrio.

The newly released module features an integrity-focused design that ensures truthful positioning and reporting, enabling the system to quickly switch to other sensors during GNSS disruptions in heavily compromised environments. Secure communication with input and output authentication prevents unauthorized access and data interception. The mosaic-G5 P8 also offers high update rate with low latency, supporting reliable navigation and control in highly dynamic applications.

The mosaic-go G5 P8 evaluation kit enables easy testing and prototyping of the mosaic-G5 P8 GNSS module.

The module is compatible with widely used, open-source autopilots like PX4 and ArduPilot, simplifying drone integration. The mosaic-G5 P8 evaluation kit, featuring direct autopilot connections, is available for testing and prototyping, and the RxTools user interface streamlines setup and evaluation.

Meet our GNSS experts and see mosaic-G5 P8 for yourself during SOF Week in Tampa, USA, May 18 – 21, in booth #609. For more information about mosaic-G5 P8 or other Septentrio products, please contact the Septentrio team.

¹ Global Navigation Satellite System including the American GPS, European Galileo, Russian GLONASS, Chinese BeiDou, Japan’s QZSS and India’s NavIC. These satellite constellations broadcast positioning information to receivers which use it to calculate their absolute position.

2 Jamming is a form of radio interference which occurs when GPS frequency is overpowered by other radio waves, resulting in accuracy degradation or event total loss of position. Spoofing is a malicious form of radio interference, where misleading signals are sent into the receiver, resulting in faulty coordinates, which lead the target away from its predefined track.
