With hundreds of drones flying around campus each month, the University of Illinois struggled to combat unauthorized, potentially hostile, flights. After a drone captured images of critical security tactics during a university football game and officers were unable to locate the operator, the University selected SkySafe to provide real-time drone detection and airspace intelligence. When a drone breached airspace again during a football game, University police used SkySafe to track the operator a half-mile away, arresting and charging him with reckless conduct.
