Al Cire serves as the Natural Resource Specialist for the Shenandoah Valley District of Virginia State Parks. He started his career as a Chief Ranger in 1988. Al recieved a BS in Wildlife Conservation from the University of Maryland. He has over 30 years experience in resource management, law enforcement and wilderness search and rescue. Seeing the potential for numerous UAV applications, Al started the agency drone program in 2021 and is acting UAV Coordinator and flight instructor for Virginia State Parks.
