Chris Lyons leads Zipline’s airspace platform initiatives, focusing on how autonomous aircraft safely and efficiently operate in shared airspace. He oversees product strategy, ecosystem partnerships, and operational systems that enable real-time coordination among multiple airspace users at scale. Chris and his team developed Zipline’s groundbreaking airspace platform, securing the first FAA approval for automated airspace coordination in commercial operations and supporting millions of autonomous deliveries worldwide. Prior to Zipline, he led product teams at Uber and Aurora, where he focused on autonomous vehicle platforms and the systems required to deploy and manage large-scale autonomous fleets.
