Dallas Brooks is the Aviation Standards and Outreach Lead for Wing, an Alphabet company. In this role, he is responsible for leading Wing’s interactions with global aviation stakeholders to shape policy, standards and procedures to improve aviation safety. As Wing’s former Aviation Regulatory Lead, he also continues to represent Wing before regulatory and industry bodies setting UAS regulatory frameworks. Prior to joining Wing, Dallas held a variety of leadership positions in government, academia and industry, including multiple roles directing and supporting the Federal government’s UAS integration efforts. He founded and co-chaired the Federal UAS Science and Research Panel, founded and served as the first Director of the FAA’s UAS Safety Research Center, and served as the Associate Director of the FAA’s UAS Center of Excellence.
