Dmytro Kushneruk is the Consul General of Ukraine in San Francisco, overseeing a consular district that includes Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.
Born on January 16, 1983, in Odesa, Ukraine, Mr. Kushneruk earned a master’s degree in international law from both the Institute of International Relations of Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University and Odessa National Law Academy. He began his diplomatic career in 2006, serving in various capacities at the President’s Office. From 2012 to 2014, he was posted as a Counsellor at the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the United Nations in New York. Following this, he served as Deputy Chief of Protocol to the President of Ukraine from 2014 to 2020.
In July 2020, Dmytro Kushneruk was appointed Consul General of Ukraine in San Francisco. He holds the diplomatic rank of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Envoy of the First Class.
