As CEO and Executive Chairman of FlyGuys, Joe Stough serves as a strategic adviser and leadership coach, guiding the team with over 30 years of experience in enterprise software and business growth. A seasoned entrepreneur, Joe played a pivotal role in Waitr’s early success as an initial seed investor, founding board member, and later as President and Chief Operating Officer. His focus now is on driving innovation and expanding the tech economy in Louisiana.
Before Waitr, Joe founded Syntex Management Systems, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise-level Operational Excellence software and analytics for energy, chemical, and heavy industries. Under his leadership, Syntex developed and scaled its flagship platform, IMPACT, which was implemented in over 100 countries in partnership with major global corporations, including ExxonMobil, ConocoPhillips, Chevron, Shell, Total, and LyondellBasell. The company’s success led to its acquisition by IHS, Inc.
