Juan Plaza is a commercial pilot, a Part 107 pilot and the CEO of Plaza Aerospace, a consulting firm that specializes in crewed and uncrewed aviation issues. Juan holds a degree in Geodesy and an MBA in International Finance. Juan is also a staff writer for Commercial UAV News and a regular columnist in AOPA publications and XYHT magazine. Juan is the editor of the monthly newsletter Conexion Hispana UAV and co-editor of the Latin American Geodrone Pilot Magazine, published in Peru.
Juan was Sales Manager for Latin America for Autodesk from 1999 to 2008 and Geospatial Sales Director for LATAM for Trimble Navigation from 2009 to 2015.
