Sergeant Justin Brannon has served with the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office for 19 years and currently supervises the agency’s Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Unit. In this role, he oversees UAS personnel, operations, equipment, training, and program development while supporting patrol operations, critical incidents, search and rescue missions, major events, and regional public-safety partners.
Sergeant Brannon is also responsible for developing and delivering UAS training to personnel within the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office and public-safety agencies throughout the region. He is committed to advancing the safe, responsible, and effective use of unmanned aircraft technology while strengthening regional coordination and operational capabilities.
