Kenny Overton

Kenny Overton is a Fire Captain, Paramedic, and the UAS Program Coordinator and Lead Pilot for the Phoenix Fire Department. With extensive operational public safety experience, Kenny has been instrumental in building and scaling the department’s Unmanned Aerial Systems program. His leadership encompasses developing standard operating procedures (SOPs), designing pilot training frameworks, and managing equipment and procurement for critical public safety missions. He specializes in deploying aerial technology for emergency incident response, real-time situational awareness, wildfire management, and tactical perimeter security. A dedicated advocate for public-private sector collaboration, Kenny actively works to integrate emerging technologies, reality capture, and AI into municipal emergency response workflows. He holds a degree in Communications from Arizona State University.
