Captain Michael Leo is currently assigned as the FDNY Robotics lead where he oversees the operation of small unmanned aircraft systems, unmanned ground systems and remotely operated marine vehicles. Michael was previously assigned to the special operations command specializing in technical information and technology. Captain Leo has a bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management and is a member of the NFPA 2400 technical committee as well as a member of the FAA Drone Advisory Committee.
