Michael Robbins is AUVSI’s Chief Advocacy Officer, leading all government relations and strategic communication initiatives and serving on the executive leadership team.
Prior to joining AUVSI full time in June 2020, Michael worked with AUVSI as a consultant on UAS and cUAS issues through the firm he co-founded in 2015, Intrepid, where he served as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to starting Intrepid, Michael served as Managing Director of Government and Public Affairs at the Air Line Pilot Association, International (ALPA), where he oversaw three departments – government affairs, air safety, and communications. Before joining ALPA in 2011, Michael spent a decade in the office of the late Congressman John D. Dingell (Michigan), where he served as the Chief of Staff.
Michael holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree from Georgetown University and is an officer in the United States Navy Reserve.
