Peter Keum is the Drone Program Lead and Geographic Information System (GIS) Analyst for the King County Wastewater Treatment Division, where he merges his passion for maps with advanced drone technology. With over 27 years of experience in GIS related to wastewater treatment and holder of GIS Professional (GISP) certification, he has been flying drones since 2015 and is also an FAA Certified Pilot. He established the Wastewater Treatment Division’s drone program and enjoys helping others in King County understand the capabilities of drones. Additionally, Peter is a founding member and monthly facilitator of the Washington GIS Association Drone Special Interest Group (DroneSIG). He is also a member of Cascadia Users of Geospatial Open Source (CUGOS), Maptime Seattle, and contributes to OpenStreetMap Seattle.
