Ryan Bracken leads Versaterm’s drone and connected devices portfolio, driving strategy and innovation for technologies that help public safety agencies improve situational awareness, operational effectiveness, and community outcomes. He joined DroneSense in 2018 and served as Chief Product Officer, helping establish the company as a leading provider of drone operations software for public safety. Following DroneSense’s acquisition by Versaterm in 2025, Ryan assumed responsibility for guiding the combined drone and connected device product lines across the broader Versaterm platform.
Prior to joining DroneSense, Ryan spent twelve years as an FBI Special Agent focused on Counterterrorism, Cyber, and Aviation operations. He holds FAA Commercial/Instrument and Remote Pilot certificates and maintains multiple SANS and (ISC)2 cybersecurity certifications.
Ryan has BS and MS degrees in Aeronautical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and, before his law enforcement career, worked as an Aerospace Engineer for the U.S. Air Force.
