Sam Scully is a veteran business development executive and certified drone consultant with over a decade of experience in workforce solutions and aerial technology integration. As the Managing Director of Sam Scully Staffing and the founder of Sam & Drones, she leads two certified firms specializing in technical staffing, drone operations, and training services across the construction, aviation, engineering, and transportation industries.
Her firm holds certifications including DBE, DVBE, MBE, SBE, and VOSB, and has served clients such as Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA), Metro Los Angeles, and the City of Los Angeles through Tier 1 and Tier 2 staffing and consulting contracts. Sam’s leadership has positioned her as a trusted partner in delivering FAA-compliant drone services for infrastructure inspection, emergency response, and site documentation.
Sam is also an FAA Part 107 certified drone pilot with more than 500 flights logged and extensive experience training over 1,000 students and interns through drone education and workforce pipeline initiatives. She actively coaches youth drone soccer teams, speaks at national UAS conferences including AUVSI XPONENTIAL and Commercial UAV Expo, and advises on emerging drone workforce strategies.
Her affiliations include Women in Drones, Civil Air Patrol, the American Legion, and the National Association of Minority Contractors. Through these platforms, she continues to promote innovation, safety, and inclusion in the rapidly evolving drone and technology workforce.
