Zaida Angulo McGhee began her legal carrier in the aviation department of a law firm and has had a passion for aviation law ever since. She is the founding partner of Angulo McGhee, APLC, a law firm representing clients in litigation and transactional matters. Among Angulo McGhee’s clients are Fortune 500 companies, international companies, and a broad range of U.S. businesses. Ms. McGhee’s experience ranges from complex civil litigation and transactional matters to compliance issues.
Ms. McGhee is the lead author of Thomson Reuters’ Drone Law which had its genesis when Ms. McGhee, in writing the Aviation Chapter for Thomson Reuters’ California Civil Practice, Torts set of books, recognized that a book dedicated specifically to United States drone law would be beneficial due to the rapid growth in both commercial and recreational drone operations. Ms. McGhee enjoys staying abreast of the numerous uses and possibilities for drones along with the developing laws and regulations. Along with the Aviation Chapter, Ms. McGhee, also authors eight chapters of Thomson Reuters’ three volume, California Civil Practice, Torts set.
Ms. McGhee obtained her bachelor’s degree with honors from the University of California, Los Angeles and her law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.
