P. Chad Maxwell

In his professional career, Chad has successfully led teams conducting geospatial work in the air, on land and at sea, on multiple continents with international clients; from 200 meters above the ground to 3,000 meters below the ocean’s surface and in-between; in a helicopter, in a truck, on the railroad, on the hoof, on an air boat and swamp buggy, from vessel in the Gulf of Mexico and Atlantic Ocean, inside a nuclear reactor, inside a jet engine testing chamber and ICBM launch facilities.

Moreover, throughout Chad has worked with emerging technologies on innovative platforms to collect, manage and deliver geospatial data – and continues to apply these tools and apply a remote-sensing-first zeitgeist. Operationally, Chad brings a body of experience with Aerial, Mobile and Terrestrial LiDAR, Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUV) and Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) to his work at HDR.

Chad earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Geomatics, with honors, from the University of Florida and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Chad is currently licensed as a Professional Land Surveyor in Florida, Texas, Louisiana, Kentucky, Ohio, West Virginia, Washington, Oregon, and California.

Most importantly, Chad is a husband to a wonderful wife and father of three young, growing, and very active kiddos.
