Chase Mendenhall

Chase Mendenhall is a UAS pilot and certified instructor with the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) program. With extensive experience in real-world drone deployments, he has supported operations including brush fire response, technical rescues, explosion incidents with injured LAFD personnel, and complex missions in crowded airspace alongside LAFD Helicopter Air Operations. Chase trains pilots to ensure safe and effective drone integration, enhancing situational awareness and operational success for emergency response scenarios.
